These Terms govern your use of the MyTamu visitor-management service ("the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility & accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and a resident, guard or admin authorised by your community.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account.
- Your access to a community is subject to approval by that community's administrators.
2. Acceptable use
- Use the Service only for legitimate visitor-management within your community.
- Only register visitors and vehicle details that you are authorised to share, and keep them accurate.
- Do not misuse, disrupt, reverse-engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or other communities' data.
- Do not use another person's personal data unlawfully or without a proper basis.
3. Visitor data & consent
When you register a visitor, you confirm you have a legitimate basis to provide their details for the purpose of community entry. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter.
4. Personal data
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
5. Service availability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and the Service is an aid to — not a replacement for — your community's security procedures.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyTamu and your community shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Malaysian law.
7. Suspension & termination
Community administrators may suspend or remove your access. We may suspend the Service or accounts that breach these Terms. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
10. Contact
Questions about these Terms should be directed to your community management office.
